Shift Your Energy via use of Amazonite & Hematite Crystals

Feeling stressed? As a woman in today’s society so much is changing.  I feel that especially if you are over 40 you are seeing a very different world than you may have grown up in.  Some examples are the ubiquity of technology-as an interface between people-in place of face to face communication.  Here in NYC where I live, having moved back after years away-I am stunned to see New Yorkers ignore their environment in order to stare at a small piece of plastic and minerals-their “smart phone.”  If you know NY at all you realize that one of the most important things to survive and thrive here is attention, paying attention.  So as a long time resident seeing adults cross a street (of crazed taxi drivers) without looking up-and walking down a busy sidewalk and barely avoid crashing into someone is a real shock.  Anyhoo…ok.

So feeling stressed as a worked at my computer-signs of that, shallow breathing, feeling of energy (but unpleasant) in the body-edgy.  I grabbed a few stones- a clear blue opaque stone called Amazonite.  And another gleaming, silvery one called Hematite.  I put them in my lap as I had no pockets on my dress.

A few minutes later, I noticed suddenly that I was focused and working instead of ruminating about this problem.  Literally 5 min after placing the stones in my lap.  This motivated me to write this post. I”m gonna be honest even though I”m a yoga teacher, read constantly about holistic health and the body, I still am (was) skeptical about stones on some level.  Now I’ve always admitted the beauty of semi-precious stones.  Amethyst is a favorite as is Rose Quartz.  But this is really the first time I noticed such a dramatic shift in my energy from simply placing stones, near my body.  [amazon_link id=”1844090671″ target=”_blank” ]Makes you wanna[/amazon_link] go hmmmm?
